Construction Management (CM)

ABS has been successfully performing construction management services since 1992. As a certified member of the Construction Management Association of America and through the expertise of our qualified staff, we know we will deliver the project desired.

Design/Build

Design/build is a construction arrangement in which the contractor provides both the design work and building construction services. This is a very cost effective delivery system and has become very popular in the building industry. ABS has been performing design/build construction since 1986. We have established ourselves in the market place as one of the premier design/build contractors in Berks County.

Land Development

ABS can assist the developer in funding and/or tenants; perform test borings; surveys; inform regarding city, township, state and/or federal requirements; contact utilities including electric, gas and water; advise regarding storm and sanitary sewers; design the site layout and excavation plan; and any other service required for successful land development.

Site Selection & Planning

Site selection is a very important aspect of the building process. A company's location can make or break its bottom line. ABS has the resources to find a perfect site for that new building. Guiding an owner through the planning stages is always a pleasure. We gather all the information needed for site access, utility availability, permits, building codes, etc. to make sure the site selection is sound.  

Architectural Services

ABS works with the most reputable architects available. We select the architect we know will be compatible with a particular client based on their company’s culture, building needs and budget requirements. Having good working relationships with several architects is of utmost importance to the success of our design/build projects.

Engineering Services

Geotechnical studies, environmental impact reports, traffic studies, structural design, mechanical design, civil engineering and more is offered by ABS. The engineers we work with are dedicated professionals who successfully complete the engineering requirements of our projects.

Permit Acquisition plan approval through building permit and L & I

You can’t build a building or start any building project without the necessary permits, approvals and L & I drawings. ABS has been building since 1986 and we have gone through the approval process hundreds of times. We get it done!
