Project Engineer

Position Requirements: One to three years of assisting project management and project supervision preferred. Have experience assisting with the management of projects from $500,000 to $8 million range; Engineering/architecture/construction management degree required. Medium to High level of computer skills required; must be proficient in Word and Excel, project management software such as Timberline or Expedition, Scheduling experience with Suretrak, bid software such as BidFax.

Management Responsibilities: The project engineer’s responsibilities will include assisting the project manager and project estimator to achieve overall project performance and client satisfaction, external correspondences, assisting with certain purchasing needs, contract assembly assistance, change order assistance, assistance with preparation of invoices for owner, daily contact and coordination with on-site superintendent, managing project information, RFI management, submittals review and management, mailing assembly and much more.

Estimating Responsibilities: The project engineer will be involved with assisting the estimating department including attending pre-bid meetings and site visits, obtain and analyze subcontractor quotations/proposals as required, prepare cost breakdowns and prepare bid proposal forms, prepare schedules for prospective projects, phone calls and information tracking, data base update and entry, bid document preparation and distribution.

Project Manager

Position Requirements: Five years of project management experience minimum preferred. Have experience managing projects from $500,000 to $8 million range Engineering/architecture/construction management degree required Basic computer skills required; must be proficient in Word and Excel, project management software such as Timberline or Expedition, Scheduling experience with Suretrak.

Management Responsibilities: The project manager’s responsibilities will included overall project performance, external correspondences, purchase orders and contracts, change orders, preparation of invoices for owner, daily contact and coordination with on-site superintendent, approval of project control procedures and preparation of all general correspondences and submittals. In addition, Project Managers are responsible for tracking and controlling job costs and progress, purchasing and scope creation.
